COMBAT!: EASTERN FRONT by Compass Games
Turn 2 | Impulse 2
The firefight intensifies... and the first soldier falls.
After the opening exchanges of fire in Turn 2, Impulse 2 sees the battle become deadly. The uncertainty of spotting and manoeuvring gives way to accurate rifle fire, and the first fatality of the campaign is recorded.
The action continues to demonstrate just how tense Combat! Eastern Front can be. Every movement, every spotting attempt and every decision carries consequences once the shooting starts.
In this episode
🎖 Turn 2 - Impulse 2.
🎖 The firefight continues.
🎖 The first fatality of the campaign.
🎖 Tactical decisions , you need to both react to, and dictate the pace to the Ai Enemy
One of the aspects I'm enjoying most about Combat! Eastern Front is how naturally the tension builds. Several turns of cautious movement and failed spotting attempts suddenly explode into a deadly exchange of fire, making every impulse feel important.
I completed my first game of Combat! Eastern Front using Scenario 1: Barbarossa. That experience convinced me to explore one of the game's standout features: the Random Scenario Generator. This campaign follows a completely generated scenario to see just how varied, challenging and enjoyable the system can be straight out of the box.
