Wingspan Pocket

2026Elizabeth Hargrave

Wingspan Pocket distills the Wingspan experience down to a lighter, shorter, card-driven game that has each player activate a single row of cards on each of their turns. The cards are all double sided: a food side and a bird side. Bird powers are primarily indicated by icons instead of text, and they include a new type of power, ongoing (green) benefits. Wingspan Pocket is designed to be accessible to novice players yet also compelling for more experienced gamers. This is a standalone game in a small box, not an expansion (the birds in it are not compatible with Wingspan). Wingspan Pocket features birds from around the world. -description from the publisher

Drillers

2026Roman Bednář, Adam Španěl

In Drillers, players explore an abandoned mine using their mechs, trying to find and excavate anything useful or valuable left behind by a forgotten mining corporation. Each level of the mine brings new opportunities and new challenges-as fuel runs low and decisions become tighter. By collecting cards, players improve the drilling capabilities of their unique mech, unlock new actions, and push their operation further underground. Mined minerals can be sold for profit also by use of drones, allowing players to refine their strategy and invest in better tools. Every decision affects everyone, often creating new opportunities for players. Drillers is a game about planning ahead, tough decision-making, and knowing just how far you can afford to drill. Will you be the first to extend the horizons and uncover what the depths hide? -description from the publisher

Duel of Meloch

2026Jamey Stegmaier

Duel of Meloch is a standalone game that combines mechanisms from two existing games, Scythe and Expeditions, into a 45-minute head-to-head clash. One player uses the Scythe rules and components (including a new faction and player mat); the other player uses the Expedition rules and components (including a new mech, character, and companion). As long as you know one of those games and your opponent knows the other, you can play Duel of Meloch, and you don't need anything other than Duel of Meloch to play this game. The duel takes place in a tight space on a new double-sided map-only 10 locations and 2 lakes-in a race to 4 stars on a new double-sided Triumph Track, so every turn is crucial. The devious Meloch keeps the game close by giving a small boost to your opponent every time you place a star. All existing Scythe factions, player mats, encounter cards, and factory cards are compatible with Duel of Meloch, as are all existing Expeditions mechs, characters, companions, and discovery cards (items, meteorites, and half of the quests). Likewise, the components in Duel of Meloch are compatible with Scythe and Expeditions: For Scythe, 3 new Factory cards, 6 new encounter cards, a completely new set of 60 combat cards; for Expeditions, 30 new discovery cards (items, quests, and meteorites). -description from the publisher

Revenant

2026Allan Kirkeby

From the void between dimensions, an ancient cosmic entity emerged-corrupting, consuming, and devouring all in its path. In the wake of the cataclysm known as Voidfall, the admirals of the fallen galactic empire, the Domineum, forged a desperate contingency plan. To preserve the legacy of the human civilization from the Voidborn threat, a former imperial flagship, the Revenant, was retrofitted to carry vast databanks containing the accumulated knowledge of humanity and escape the fallen empire. Now, bearing humanity's last hope and escorted by the ships of the Domineum's last Great Houses, you must guide the fleet to safety beyond the known galaxy, balance fragile alliances, and secure not only the survival of humankind-but also your own political destiny. Revenant is a standalone, competitive worker placement game of shifting allegiances, set in the Voidfall universe. Players take on the role of rival admirals coordinating the defense of a fleeing starfleet, and competing to earn influence with the factions that stand to survive the journey. Across four rounds, players assign crew to ships throughout the fleet, from which they will fight corrupted ships, explore planets in search of resources, upgrade their ship and crew, deploy new vessels, and more. Each ship is affiliated with one of the Great Houses, and each time you assign crew there, you gain influence with that House. The journey won't be an easy one. The Voidborn's corrupted forces will continuously attack the fleet, dealing damage to various ships at the end of every round. You can take your part in protecting the fleet by destroying enemy ships, repairing friendly vessels or maneuvering them to safe areas, or ultimately activating the Revenant's hyperdrive to jump to a safer sector. Regardless of your efforts, there will be casualties - you have to make sure that the Houses you have influence in are protected above others. Revenant spices up the resource management and engine-building of a mid-weight euro with dynamic tactical challenges, constant player interaction, and shifting allegiances. -description from the publisher

Ringyō

2026Charlie McCarron

Set during the Edo Period of Japan, play as a daimyo - or feudal lord - overseeing a personal province board that begins as a wild, old growth forest. Over the course of five rounds, each player will determine the path of their own province by simultaneously placing skilled forestry samurai workers at key intersections to perform actions. These decisions could include the harvesting of trees to construct farms and castles, the planting and study of trees for future knowledge, establishing a new agricultural presence to sustain the region's population, the building of castle structures for both immediate rewards and eventual honor, or even mustering a military force to help support the efforts of the Shogun in Edo. While tending to their province, players must also forecast, consider, and prepare for the ever-changing weather of Japan, with rain having both positive growth and negative flooding effects on their own land. The deck of weather cards is constantly changing focus on forest regions, and it is up to each daimyo to consider the importance in forecasting and preparing for the weather. If ignored, excessive rains in regions caught unaware could turn into a cascade of destructive flooding across your province! Using their skilled forestry samurai, players may choose to cut down any of the four different tree types found on the landscape, each of which contribute towards a specific combination of required materials for castles and farms to be built in their province or Edo. But players also must consider the sustainable approach to forest regeneration, through the planting, studying, and fostered growth of future generations of trees. If you clear cut the land to have an immediate stockpile of building supplies, you leave your province susceptible to flooding, destruction, and fallow fields. Finding the balance between the demands of the natural environment, your province's needs, and the Shogun's demands in Edo is the key to success in Ringyo. In addition to tending to their own region, players must consider the demands of the Shogun in Edo, located in the center of the table, as well. Competing with other daimyo players, each will send advisors from their region to Edo - as well as race to fulfill specific demands of the Shogun - to seek both immediate gifts and receive game-end honor bestowed upon them by the Shogun, allowing them to rise above the competition due to their attention on Edo. Using a combination of bidding for favor with the shogun, simultaneous worker placement in your own province, reacting to the ever-changing weather of the region, and competing with other feudal lords to fulfill the demands of the shogun, Ringyo rewards players with honor who consider both their own region's needs as well as the requests of the greater country, all while taking a sustainable and respectful approach to the land on which they call home. Whichever path a player has taken, it is the daimyo who has achieved the greatest amount of honor by the end of five rounds, who will become the victor. -description from the publisher

Entropy

2026Tommaso Battista, Simone Luciani, Nestore Mangone

For aeons, entropy was an inescapable force of nature. But then humanity evolved to understand it, harness it, and even bend it to their purpose. Your life has been devoted to learning how to shape the very workings of the universe to your will... or rather, to the will of your people. You are to become a scientist, a member of the most revered caste. Now the time has come for the final exam. You must prove you can create new solar systems, coax stars into life, shape a range of biomes, and ultimately seed planets with life. It may only be a simulation, there are limits to what you can do here; this is science, not magic. And you are not alone. Across the complex, fellow apprentices step into their own chambers, beginning the same trial. Only one will rise to join the caste. This is your moment of truth. Entropy plays out over a variable number of rounds. Each turn, you must move your Scientist between 1 to 3 spaces clockwise around the Main board. You must end your movement on either an inner Action space on the Main board or an outer space of an Action tile, and resolve it. You will build Solar Systems with Stars, Planets, and Asteroids, then fill them with Life, by playing cards. You may also gain various special abilities by adding Biomes and upgrading your Console. The end game is triggered when any 2 out of 6 Main Objectives are Completed. The player with the most Victory Points at the end of the game is the winner. -description from the publisher

Rosalie

2027Totsuca Chuo, Higabito (ヒガビト)

In Rosalie, players are aspiring rose breeders competing to build the most magnificent rose garden and earn renown as the finest nursery grower in town. Each player begins with a small plot of land and a dream. Over the course of the game, players plant roses, crossbreed new varieties, cultivate their soil, and adorn their gardens with fountains and windmills. New and exotic roses are temperamental - neglect their care, and they will wither. To help tend the garden, players can recruit caretaker robots, powering them with electricity to keep their precious roses alive and thriving. Workers are at the heart of the operation. When their hands are free, players direct them to carry out essential tasks: planting, breeding, tilling, and decorating. Every decision shapes the garden, gradually transforming a modest patch of earth into a source of pride. Money is always available - the town is generous with its loans, and players can borrow freely whenever funds run short. But beware: at the end of each year, interest quietly accumulates. Debt begets debt, and what once felt like a lifeline can become a chain that strangles your ambitions. Managing finances wisely is just as important as cultivating beautiful roses. Balance your budget, breed striking new varieties, and build the most captivating rose garden to claim victory. -description from the publisher

FlipToons: Season 2

2026Jordy Adan, Renato Simões

It's time to cast the next great animated show...again! A top talent agent like you knows that this season's hottest new stars are just waiting to be discovered. Audition an all-new cast of characters from hopeful Toons! Will your fresh-faced actors earn this year's Critic's Choice award? FlipToons: Season 2 is a quick deck-building game for 1-4 players. This stand-alone expansion features an all-new cast of cartoon animals hoping to make it into your production, including new aquatic creatures and sporty stars. Plus the new Return mechanic to spice things up! FlipToons: Season 2 can be played on its own, or combined with the original FlipToons as an expansion to support up to 8 players and add more variety to your games. Begin each game with a deck of hopeful toon actors. Each round, shuffle your entire deck. Flip (reveal) toon cards in order from the top of your deck into your grid to audition together. Each toon card in your 3-by-2 grid has different talent effects, often based on where they landed in your grid. Many will interact with one another and (hopefully) earn Fame for your studio. But they won't all have that special on-screen chemistry you're looking for. Some won't work well together at all! After each Flip, tally up your current grid of toons' Fame points, then spend them to hire more stars for your cast. Or, spend some of your Fame to dismiss a card, and get that bad actor off the stage. Sorry kid, you just don't have what it takes to be a star in this show. Reset your Fame back to zero, shuffle, and flip again. If you are the first to generate 30+ Fame in a single flip, you'll earn the Critic's Choice award (worth extra Fame points) and trigger the end of the game. After that turn's market phase, it's time for the Final Flip. The player who earns the most Fame during the Final Flip is declared the winner. Applause!

Container

2026Franz-Benno Delonge, Thomas Ewert, Kevin Nesbitt

Every decision you make in Container shapes the market. During play, you build factories, produce containers, set prices, negotiate with your rivals, sail across the sea to trade, and (obviously) buy low, and sell high. At least that's the goal - but can you make it happen? The rules for Container are simple; the real challenge is understanding and timing the market. Players build machines, warehouses, and containers, then sail your containers to the island and auction them off. Be careful with your money - in the closed economy, money's tight and your opponents are cutthroat! At the beginning of the game, container value cards are secretly dealt to all players. Because these values aren't shown, you'll have to suss out what your opponents are going for throughout the game! But at final scoring, these come into play. The player with the most money wins.
