In this World of Warcraft miniature painting video, I paint the Lich King with cold blue armor, dark cloak shadows, glowing Frostmourne runes and a frozen snow base. I begin with Panzer Grey primer, followed by an Off-White drybrush to reveal the raised details and establish the first highlights. The armor is painted with Gunmetal, then finished with Bronze details and selective Silver highlights to create an ancient, battle-worn metallic appearance. For the cloak, I use Nightshade to deepen the recesses before building the main color with Night Blue. This creates a cold, shadowy blue that complements the steel armor and the frozen atmosphere surrounding the Lich King. The glowing eyes and magical runes on Frostmourne are painted with Metallic Blue. These small, bright details become the main focal points of the miniature and connect the character’s icy magic with the snowy base. To complete the scene, I add a textured snow base inspired by the frozen lands of Northrend. And, of course, Mildy stays beside me during the painting process—while somehow resisting the temptation to steal the brush. 🐾 This Lich King miniature was personally painted and filmed by me.
