Abominations Awakened – WoW Miniature Abomination Painting with Lotus &Mildy Cat #worldofwarcraft

Description provided by Lotus Thalia on YouTube:

In this World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King board game miniature painting video, I paint one of the game’s most grotesque Abominations. This undead creature is covered in rotten flesh, exposed organs, bones, stomach teeth, metal weapons and gruesome stitched details. I begin with a Bone White primer, followed by Dead Flesh as the main skin color. The exposed organs are painted with a mixture of Nocturne Red and Blood Red, creating a dark, raw contrast against the sickly skin. Bone White is then used to define the teeth and exposed bone details. After painting the metal weapons, I apply Reikland Fleshshade over the body. The wash settles into the cuts, folds and recessed areas, making the damaged flesh and sculpted textures easier to see. The final gore and blood effects are added selectively around the wounds, organs and weapons. I keep these effects concentrated around the most damaged areas instead of covering the entire miniature. To finish the scene, I create a snowy base inspired by the frozen lands of Northrend. The clean white snow creates a strong contrast with the rotten flesh and bloody details of the Abomination. This World of Warcraft board game miniature was personally painted and filmed by me. I’m still learning and experimenting with different miniature painting techniques, and this project focuses on rotten skin, exposed organs, controlled washes, gore effects and a simple winter base. ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS 00:00 – Bone White Primer 00:17 – Dead Flesh Basecoat 00:45 – Exposed Organs: Nocturne Red & Blood Red 02:25 – Bone White Stomach Teeth & Bones 03:40 – Metal Weapons 04:32 – Reikland Fleshshade Body Wash 07:37 – Gore and Blood Effects 09:07 – Snow Base & Final Showcase 🎨 PAINTS & MATERIALS USED Bone White Primer Dead Flesh Nocturne Red Blood Red Bone White Metallic Paint Reikland Fleshshade Gore and Blood Effects Snow Texture Effect The Abomination is now ready to march through Northrend under the banner of the Lich King.
