About The Northman, provided by the creator on YouTube:
Winter has come. In fact, it's almost winter all year in Norway, where I recide. We have the perfect weather for staying inside and play board games. Oh my, there are many games out there! How to get the "best" game?
Hello! My name is André, and go under the nickname @takras on a lot of social platforms. I've made hundreds of videos for boardgames, but they've all been in Norwegian! Sad. I've made dozens - DOZENS! - of videos for The Dice Tower under the name Takras, but it's time to change that name - it doesn't make sense in English.
Takras is Norwegian for "snow falling from a rooftop" and is a dangerous phenomenon whenever we have snow, and it happens every year. The Nortman is a more fitting name for me. I'm Viking, I need to embrace my heritage. No, I'm not going to reimplement the worst they did, but I can try to be viking - in spirit!
Welcome!
