Watch “Tak University - Tinuë,” a how-to-play guide for Tak from Simmon Tak on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by Simmon Tak on YouTube:
In this video, we discuss Tinuë. It's a basic part of Tak, and we'll be breaking Tinuës down into groups to talk about how to get Tinuë in which situations. I probably over-explained this, but there you go.
It is important to note that Tinuë is not a requirement in Tak. Most games end without a Tinuë. Heck, even most Road Wins aren't Tinuë. So don't be discouraged if you have trouble finding your own in your games. Though it's pretty important to be able to spot when your opponent is building toward one.
Tak University is a series where I explain some tips and tricks about Tak that I've learned over the years to help new players gain a better understanding and give that little nudge into a higher level of play. I hope to continue this series until I run out of things to talk about. So if you have any questions or topic suggestions, leave them below in the comments.

Come check out the subreddit at https://www.reddit.com/r/Tak/
Or come where all the action is, the Tak Discord server - https://discord.gg/2xEt42X
The Discord is where most active players are, where community events are planned and discussed, where updates to Playtak are discussed, and the best place to find games with other people.
We also have an Instagram! Where a picture of a new puzzle is posted each weekday on a physical board and then a video solution is posted later in the day. Go check out @Simmon_Tak on Instagram!
We also have a Twitch channel! I'll try to be streaming while recording when possible. https://www.twitch.tv/simmon_tak
I've also said it before, but I always plan to keep all the videos on this channel ad-free so there are as few barriers to entry for new Tak players as possible. You shouldn't have to sit through ads to see great Tak content, so I'll do that. I do, however, have a Patreon. If you like the content and want to encourage me to keep making it with money, that's the place to do it. I feel weird talking about it, but there are some perks to joining and you can find those out here: https://www.patreon.com/Simmon_Tak
