Live Commentary - 2022 Tak Championship - Semifinals - alion02 vs Abyss - Game 2

Description provided by Simmon Tak on YouTube:

This is the 2022 Tak Championship Tournament. alion02 takes on Abyss in the second game of their 4-game Semifinals match. Abyss was able to sneak in a road as black against alion02 and gain a 1-game advantage. The match isn't over yet, however. Even if Abyss wins this game as white, alion02 would still have a chance to bring it to a tiebreaker. But that's getting ahead of ourselves, let's watch game 2! I also was not able to cover this game live, but alion02 was kind enough to record his screen for me. At the time of my recording commentary over the top of it, I had not seen the game and didn't know the outcome. So it was just the same as if I were commentating live, only we get to see alion02 move his mouse around and toy with moves and guess at his thought process. 0:00 Introduction 1:58 Game 2 This is the 2022 Tak Championship Tournament, which is played on a 6x6 board with a 15-minute time limit for each player and a 15-second increment per turn and 2 komi - meaning that black gets 2 added to their flat count score if the game does not end in a road. These are 4-game matches, so the players get a chance to play twice as each color when facing each opponent. The tournament is played on a single-elimination bracket. The first-place winner of this tournament will be crowned the Tak Champion! This tournament only happens every 2 years and the title of Tak Champion is a coveted one.
