Let's Play DRILLERS | Roll to One Boardgaming

Description provided by Roll to One Gaming on YouTube:

0:Drillers Board Game Playthrough We're back on Roll to One Gaming with Drillers, a brand new Gen Con release that's got us digging deep — literally. It's a deck-builder where the cards themselves don't score you a single point; instead you spend them to fuel your mech, buy more drills and movement, and decide turn after turn whether it's smarter to blast open a wall for a big flat payout or squeeze out a few more minerals before you run out of fuel. Andy calls it a spiritual successor to Lost Ruins of Arnac, and as tonight's Thinky pick, the whole table slows down to actually weigh those tradeoffs instead of just barreling ahead. Andy, his dad Greg, Adam, and Davey are all at the table, and the personalities come out fast: Davey immediately burns through his movement just to reach the first floor and gets saddled with the nickname "Torso Boy," then spends the rest of the night as the resident diver who barely ever surfaces thanks to a nuclear reactor keeping his fuel topped off. Adam goes all-in on drones and card draw, chasing down the 3D printer and buying nearly everything the shop has to offer, while Greg leans into the Ultra Furnace, cheerfully torching his own gold and silver for extra fuel. Andy spends most of the game a step behind everyone else, catching up turn after turn until a reckless descent from Adam triggers a cave-in and forces a scramble to the finish. When the dust settles, Davey lands at 87, Greg at 119, and Adam takes it down with 158. This one's part of Roll to One Gaming's Season 2, where every win counts toward our ongoing Season Board standings. Climb high enough by the end of the season and you'll land in the Top 3, which earns you some Roll to One Shop merch. New Roll to One Gaming episodes drop every other week.
