In this full solo playthrough of Drillers, Dave takes control of the Railbreaker and heads underground against the MAYDAY bot. Drillers is a one-to-four-player deck-building game from Czech Games Edition in which battered mining mechs descend through increasingly valuable tunnels, collect minerals, upgrade their systems, repair damage, and try to make it back to the surface before the mine closes around them. During the playthrough, Dave explains both the regular rules and the solo system as he plays. You will see how movement and drilling work, how cards improve your mech, how the stores and drones can be used, and how the MAYDAY bot becomes more dangerous as the game progresses. But after upgrading its fuel capacity, buying more powerful cards, activating drones, and drilling deeper into the mine, it begins to put together some enormous turns. Meanwhile, MAYDAY keeps collecting minerals, clearing out the stores, opening new tunnels, and accelerating the end of the game. Can Dave escape the mine with enough minerals and points to defeat the two-star bot? And will he regret drilling all the way to the bottom on his final turn? I believe this playthrough covers most of the rules, but there is one rule I think I missed: once during your turn, you may choose to damage your mech by adding a damage card to your discard pile in order to gain three fuel.
