Watch “Drillers Board Game Review | Deck-Building Below the Surface,” a board game review for Drillers from Board Games with Rob on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by Board Games with Rob on YouTube:
I picked up Drillers at Gen Con, and now it’s time to dig into this deck-building and resource-management game from Czech Games Edition!
Designed by Adam Španěl and Říman (Roman Bednář), Drillers sends players into an abandoned mine aboard powerful drilling mechs. You’ll excavate minerals, manage fuel, upgrade your machine, and improve your deck with multi-use cards—all while deciding how much farther you can safely descend.
Drillers scratches a similar itch to Lost Ruins of Arnak, but it’s much more focused on deck-building. In this review, I’ll show you how it works before sharing my final thoughts and rating.
The artwork is by Jakub Politzer, Jiří Kůs, Jiří Mikovec, and Ondřej Hrdina.
