Watch “Gaudí Review: A Dani Garcia Fan’s Next Favorite?,” a board game review for Gaudí from Board Games with Rob on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by Board Games with Rob on YouTube:
Gaudí is the second of Devir’s recent Essen releases that I’ve had the chance to play quite a bit for review. Designer Dani Garcia is someone whose games I typically enjoy, so I was eager to get this one to the table. Will Gaudí be another game that clicks with me?
Featuring artwork by Edu Valls, Gaudí explores the life and work of architect Antoni Gaudí through tile placement, card play, and carefully chosen actions. Over three rounds, you move around the central Chandelier, collect cards and trencadís tiles, and develop your personal board. You’ll earn points across Nature, Catalonia, and Religion—but only your two lowest scores count at the end. Getting ahead means keeping those competing priorities in balance!
