Let's Play FLIP 7 | Roll to One Board Gaming

Description provided by Roll to One Gaming on YouTube:

Flip 7 Board Game Playthrough Is it cozy? Is it cutthroat? You be the judge. Flip 7 is a push-your-luck card game that our GM Jaden describes as "fancy blackjack" — flip cards, chase 200 points, and don't draw a number you already have or you're out of the round. Add in Freeze, Flip Three, and Second Chance cards and suddenly your family is aiming them at you. We filed this one under Cozy because everyone is laughing the whole way through, even the people losing badly. We're at the table with Andy, Laura, Julie, and Greg, and the whole night runs on nerve. Andy sets a "magic number" of 30 and does the math every single turn; Laura refuses to count anything and asks only to be told when she's won. Julie hits a Flip 7 early for the seven-card bonus and runs away with the lead, then Laura answers with a Flip 7 of her own later in the game. Freeze cards get pointed at whoever's ahead, Flip Threes get aimed at Greg, and Andy and Laura get accused of collusion over a "conscience" bit that keeps coming back all night. Greg gives us the most legendary moment of the session — busting on two twos, which Julie confirms she has photographic evidence of him doing before. We also learn that these cards are genuinely miserable to shuffle, and that the card shuffler is sitting on the bench in the other room. This is part of Roll to One Gaming Season 2, where every game we play counts toward the Season Board. At the end of the season, our Top 3 players walk away with merch from the Roll to One Shop — so every "one more card" decision at this table has consequences well past tonight. Unfortunately our recording stopped before we had finished playing, unbeknownst to us at the time. New Roll to One Gaming episodes drop every other Saturday.
