Watch “What is Halls of hegra about?,” a board game review for Halls of Hegra from Jenders Gaming on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by Jenders Gaming on YouTube:
In this video, I take a closer look at the solo board game: Halls of Hegra. This solitaire-only wargame puts you in command of a group of Norwegian volunteers fighting against superior German forces in the early days of WW2. In Halls of Hegra, inspired by games like Robinson Crusoe, This War of Mine, and Dead of Winter, you'll use mechanics like worker placement, bag building, and area control/tower defense to navigate through three distinct stages of gameplay.
First, in the Mobilization stage, you’ll explore an abandoned mountain fortress, recruit new volunteers, and prepare your supply routes for the coming siege. Then, during the 1st attack, you’ll try to defend the village below while continuing to prepare for the final siege. In the Siege stage, you’ll face relentless bombing and infantry attacks, testing both your defense and your ability to keep morale high among your men.
Will you survive the siege of Fortress Hegra? Find out what this intense and historically inspired board game is about as I guide you.
