The Game That Replaced Hot Streak

Description provided by Board Game Journey on YouTube:

Hot Streak gave me some of the biggest laughs I’ve had playing a board game. So why has Dino Racer suddenly become the racing game I’m reaching for instead? In this video, I’m comparing Hot Streak and Dino Racer and explaining why this tiny game has essentially replaced Hot Streak as my go-to racing and betting game. Dino Racer is smaller, easier to bring anywhere, incredibly easy to introduce to new players, and still gives me those chaotic racing moments I love. That doesn’t mean Hot Streak is a bad game — far from it. In fact, I’m not even ready to get rid of it! Hot Streak still delivers an incredible experience when I want the bigger production and spectacle. But when I look at which game I’m actually getting to the table more often, Dino Racer has taken over that role. Would you make the same switch? Or are you sticking with Hot Streak? 📧 Business Inquiries: boardgamejourney25@gmail.com 0:00 Intro 0:59 Replacement & 1st Point 1:17 2nd Point 4:24 3rd Point 5:05 4th Point 5:59 Summary
