Tapestry: How to Play and Tips

Description provided by Games Made Easy on YouTube:

In this week's Games Made Easy video you will learn how to play better Tapestry, quickly and easily too. Please support my channel, join my Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/GamesMadeEasy In Tapestry you develop a civilisation through 5 eras using science, technology, military and exploration to get further ahead and more successfully than your opponents. You have to maximise your resources and your unique abilities to develop your civilisation better and win the game. I love how pretty it is. I also love the rhythm, how it starts slowly and builds up to a super tense ending. I also like that you end your round when it fits your plans and that not everyone is in sync but you still manage to impact and interact with other players. I also love the asymmetry and that each civilisation and Tapestry make each game unique and always different. Tabletop games are really fun, but learning the complicated directions and rules can be a challenge. Lavinia and Peter explain the rules quickly and easily while giving you all the tips you need to win faster. -- -- -- 0:00 - Introduction 0:30 – The Theme 0:47 – How to Win 1:34– Components & Setup 3:48 – How to Play 3:59 – First Income 4:52 – The advancement tracks 6:06 – The Exploration Track 6:52 – The Military Track 8:08 – The Technology Track 9:12 – The Science Track 9:53 - Tapestry Cards 10:08 - Income Buildings 10:29 – The Capital City Mat 11:07 - Landmark Buildings 11:41 – Full Income Turn 14:15 – Achievements 14:44 – Game End 15:09 – My Tips to Win 15:47 – Conclusions -- -- -- • Make a PayPal Direct Donation: https://bit.ly/3bG1Hgt • Support me on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/GamesMadeEasy • Subscribe to my YouTube channel: https://bit.ly/3bHhD1T • Like me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/GamesMadeEasyBetter/ • Visit me on Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/gamesmadeeasy/ • Subscribe to my GeekList: https://www.boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/276561/games-made-easy-how-play-videos-my-favourite-board • Tapestry Website: https://stonemaiergames.com/games/tapestry/ • Tapestry on BoardGameGeek.com: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/286096/tapestry • Buy Tapestry on Amazon: https://amzn.eu/3EWMw9i #HowToPlay #PlayBetter #Tapestry #GamesMadeEasy
