Scythe Board Game Playthrough | Legacy Peace Scenario (4 Players)

Description provided by Roll to One Gaming on YouTube:

Scythe Board Game Playthrough – Season 1, Roll to One Gaming We're back in the world of Scythe, and this time it's Peace in Our Times — the second game in our Scythe Legacy campaign, and things are very different. No combat stars. Objective stars are doubled up. Alliance tokens let you swap faction abilities with an opponent. And if you break that alliance? Ten coins gone at the end of the game. Scythe is an engine-building area control game with a retro-futuristic Eastern European aesthetic, and in its Hardcore form, every move matters and every territory counts. This session doubles down on strategic tension while stripping out direct combat entirely — and somehow, the stakes feel higher than ever. Early on Andy and Davy struck an alliance — swapping faction abilities and coins to accelerate their engines. Scotty made a beeline for the factory and locked in that star early. George quietly deployed traps across the board, built monuments next to mines, and stacked territory after territory while the rest of us were arguing about Card 50 and whether "empty" really means empty (it does — designer Jamey Stegmaier confirmed it, Andy's star gets an asterisk). Objectives flew out fast, everyone hit four stars in a tight cluster, and when the dust settled on scoring, George walked away with 99 points — a dominant territory count nobody saw coming until it was too late. This is part of Roll to One Gaming Season 1, our ongoing competitive board game series where every win counts. We track results on the Season Board, and at the end of the season the Top 3 players earn merch from the Roll to One Shop. The fight for those spots is very much alive. New Roll to One Gaming episodes drop every week.
