Step into the haunting streets of Yharnam as I paint Vicar Amelia from Bloodborne: The Board Game. In this miniature painting video, I focus mainly on dry brushing and wash techniques to bring out the sculpted textures, deepen the shadows, and capture Amelia’s tragic transformation. I begin with a grey primer, followed by a controlled Rakarth Flesh dry brush. This quickly reveals the raised details and creates a pale foundation for the next colors. Instead of covering this underpainting completely, I use it to guide the placement of the highlights and shadows. For her cursed, ghostly skin, I apply Dead Flesh, while Bone White creates the aged, bone-pale fabric. The similar tones help unify the miniature, but their different placement and shading keep the skin and fabric visually distinct. To build depth without losing the pale atmosphere, I use Drakenhof Nightshade to introduce cold blue shadows and Nuln Oil for the darkest recesses. After the washes dry, selected areas are dry brushed and highlighted again to restore definition. A final coat of satin varnish protects the finished miniature while preserving its unsettling appearance.
