Watch “The man behind Madden: How Trip Hawkins built the greatest #NFL video game franchise #EASports,” a board game interview on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by APBA Football Club on YouTube:
This interview is the direct result of a comment by a fellow who saw my post about #football #boardgames on the Professional Football Researchers Association page on Facebook. While many folks remembered playing Paydirt, this gentleman gave a nod to Accu-Stat, the 1970s creation of Trip Hawkins. Trip went on to create Electronic Arts and, in the 1980s, embarked on creating the Madden franchise.
My conversation with Trip runs the gamut from working with John Madden to creating game features and functions that have enticed fans for decades.
