Watch “Pizza Box Football lives! Smith Brothers’ APBA experiences inform unique football game #pizzabox,” a board game interview on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by APBA Football Club on YouTube:
Erik and Scott Smith grew up playing APBA Baseball in Lancaster and went on to create the beloved Pizza Box Football using some of that experience. In development since the 1980s, PIzza Box features four play modes and a novel box design that folds out to hold the playing field. With a devoted community sharing their Pizza Box gameplay and custom teams on Board Game Geek, Pizza Box continues to hold a special place in gamers’ hearts (and on their tabletops). While the game is out of print at the moment, the Smiths have been creating team cards for Super Bowl teams for the past 20 years – and plenty of downloads are also still available at their website.
