Designer Robert De Leskie is joining us live for an epic Livestream! After talking about the game and the history it depicts, he will walk us through the rule and then we'll play a game. I will be joined by Stuart Ellis-Gorman, a medieval historian and one of my fiercest opponent!
Fire & Stone: Siege of Vienna 1683 places you in one of the most dramatic sieges in history, during which a 100,000-strong Ottoman army arrives outside the Habsburg capital of Vienna. 12,000 infantry, a city militia, and citizen-soldiers mount a desperate defence inside the city. The game uses different decks of cards for each player, who will conduct deadly assaults against impenetrable fortifications, dig tunnels packed with explosives, and launch desperate attacks to delay your enemy's advance. Or you can play powerful events with the power to change the course of battle!
