In this game, players are jockeying for position on the board by moving their campesinos, building structures, and building dams to re-route the river for payday. While Dos Rios is not for everyone (not always my first choice either), it does some really interesting things, and I am always happy to play this at 4 players. I love the new puzzle each time it's my turn: How do I re-route the river in my favor while cutting off my opponents? Just beware: It is nearly impossible to plan ahead in this game, so if you like to plan, this likely won't be for you. Hopefully this video showcases the game so you can decide for yourself if it's an undiscovered game worth seeking out. *RULES CLARIFICATIONS:* 1) One small rule I forgot to cover: During each player's _very first turn_ there is no harvest phase. This gives the board time to change before any harvests happen, and it also helps remove the start player's advantage. When the start player takes their _second turn_ then you proceed with the normal 2-step turn structure as shown in the video. 2) Also during the very first round, you are not allowed to chase off any opponents who haven't had a chance to move yet. So the start player can't chase off anyone, the second player is _only_ allowed to chase off the start player, etc. This also helps balance the turn order. _This video is not designed to be a full tutorial. Please read the rulebook before playing._ 3) The rule about not being able to build a dam while standing on an opponent's casa is not explicitly in the rulebook. The designer himself clarified that on a BGG forum. *Follow me on Instagram @ Undiscovered_Games* for cool pictures, written reviews, and more undiscovered games that didn't make it to my YouTube channel. *Find me on BGG @ Undiscovered_Games* *For business inquiries,* _send me a message on Instagram or BGG._ _Disclaimer: This video is *not* sponsored.
