This is a quirky game, but the design is very balanced and has some unique ideas, such as using secret information as a valuable resource to be leveraged and bartered with. Sadly, the rulebook is very hard to understand, which probably led to this game's demise. We trudged through it, learned the game, and played it 6 times so that I could showcase the game in a video. My hope is that this video helps you better visualize the game when you're reading the rulebook. This is not a full tutorial video! Sherwood Forest is a socially interactive board game with a fun theme, and it's up to the players to bring it to life. There are lots of opportunities for mischief, backstabbing, bluffing, collusion, and cooperation.
