Position Magnifique - The Battle of Mars-la-Tour 1870: Play Example

Description provided by Hexed And Countered on YouTube:

A play example of the game Position Magnifique - The Battle of Mars-la-Tour 1870 from Paper Wars issue #81 (Compass Games) from 2015. The game is designed by Hermann Luttmann and was originally released (and then re-released) as Duel of Eagles. This is the first game to use the chit-pull-driven system that evolved into the Blind Swords series which has grown to encompass 11 games (and counting) with six of them from Hermann Luttmann himself and the others from several other designers. Eight of the games are available from Revolution Games, one was released by GMT Games and the other by Tiny Battle Publishing. The system was later adapted by Mr. Luttmann into the Shattered Union series (from Tiny Battle) and the Black Swan series (from Flying Pig Games) - both of those series have one release thus far. For more info, check out the game's page on Boardgame Geek: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/124034/position-magnifique-battle-mars-la-tour-1870 Paper Wars #81 is no longer available from Compass Games but may be available from secondary sources (I purchased it from Noble Knight Games).
