Watch “March of the Ants: Finally, a Weeknight 4X Game,” a board game review for March of the Ants: Evolved Edition from Table Scraps on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by Table Scraps on YouTube:
"March of the Ants: Evolved Edition" is a 4X game you can actually play on a weeknight. Instead of sprawling space empires, you're managing ant colonies - and that is FUN (unless a centipede shows up). The mechanics are elegant, the theme works beautifully, and I'm genuinely excited about this one. That said, I'm flagging a couple things: some potentially feel-bad moments, randomness, and a small deck of cards that has me curious about replayability. Will these issues matter over time? Not sure yet, but here are my first impressions. Spoiler alert: I really love this game.
