*RULES CLARIFICATIONS:*
- You may _not_ overthrow a boss that was just placed in the same round.
- This is a small technicality, but when you buy a _face up_ card, you _must_ put your cube out on that location right away (you are not allowed to hold that card into your hand). However, when you buy a card off the top of the deck, you can choose to play that card right away, OR hold the card into your hand for later. Just note if you buy the top card of the deck and it's the waitress or the drunk guy, you _must_ immediately play it. You cannot hold the waitress or drunk guy in your hand.
- I assume all actions are optional. The rulebook clearly states that buying a card is optional, but it does not address the other 2 actions. We play where all actions are optional.
- Before payday, players have 1 final chance to play as many share cards as they wish to put cubes out. Each player does this in turn order, right before payday.
- _Comment if you have any questions!_
*EPISODE 62: Big Bad Beer Bosses* showcases Goldbräu, a simple but mean economic euro game from the late, great Franz-Benno Delonge. Published by Hanser and Rio Grande Games back in 2004, this game is everything I love about old-school German board games. It's simple to learn, player-driven, highly interactive, mean and gritty, and quick to play... all while looking gorgeous with its charming table presence. The biergarten and brewery theme really elevates this game above other economic euros for me. It has such a classy look with beautiful aesthetics all around. Back when I made my Top 50 video, I had only played Goldbräu twice (which was below my 3-play minimum required for my Top 50). However, I have now played the game 7 times, and I can confidently say this belongs in my Top 25 somewhere. I don't know yet where it will be ranked. All I know is I absolutely love everything about this game!
