This mode flips the normal Dungeon Pages idea on its head. Instead of playing a hero, you control the boss and try to defend your dungeon against incoming heroes. I walk through the basics of the boss grid, how heroes activate using Good Dice, how Evil Dice let you place monsters and traps, and how the dungeon slowly fills up as heroes stream in. This is my first time playing Underboss so I explain the rules as I go and talk through my decisions. Throughout the video I cover how the hero activation flow works, how the Good Dice decide which heroes move, what their speed and direction icons mean, and how they pick up items in their row or column. I also look at how Evil Dice let you activate threats, upgrade them, or place traps that trigger on hero movement. Since this plays out in three dungeons in a row, I spend a lot of time figuring out spacing, how to position threats, and how the boss grid interacts with hero attacks. There is a bit of tower defense energy to it and I mention that as I get deeper into the sheet.
