From BoardGameGeek

Dungeon Pages: Underboss is a standalone, print and play adventure that brings new layers of tension, strategy, and replayability to the tabletop. Underboss deepens the series' core ideas - simple mechanics, smart decisions, and tight design - while introducing fresh twists. It's for fans who love the compact strategy of Dungeon Pages, but want to explore new tactical challenges from the perspective of the evil underlord. This time, instead of raiding the dungeon and defeating monsters, you'll build traps and deploy monsters to protect your domain. You'll even drop into the dungeon yourself to be sure the job is done right. As the heroes crawl over the catacombs, you must balance building traps, deploying defensive forces, and when to attack with your own unique boss powers. You do this by rolling dice, strategically marking the results as traps, monsters, and powerful effects to defeat heroes, gather soul gems, and build your forces. The dice also activate the heroes' positions and attacks that you will have to mitigate. Defeat all the heroes to win! Each game sheet will feature a unique configuration of familiar heroes. The heroes will try to break down your defenses and run off with your gold. If they do, you'll be defeated. But if you can eliminate the invaders, you'll reign supreme and finally be declared the ultimate Underboss! -description from the publisher
