NOTE: it takes a special kind of someone to make a teach & play video that spends three times as long teaching the game as they do playing, but here we are. Feel free to scroll down for the timestamps if you'd like to just see it in action! Hello! Welcome to an episode of Gaming with GIVEPAUSE that isn't! It's a teach & play double feature for Battle Card: Market Garden, a bite-sized WWII battle that fits on two sides of a postcard! Get ready for the crunchy tactical challenge and beautiful graphical layout of David Thompson and Nils Johansson... it's seriously a delight. I was intrigued by this game enough to PNP it up, but it wasn't until I was sent preview PDFs of the next two titles in the series (Series 1 of Battle Card is published by Postmark Games, who graciously provided me said preview files) that I actually got it to the table. Given the quickness of the game, one session turned into a handful of games, and here I am, thrilled to teach and show off this title to you all!
