I recently picked up Viscounts of the West Kingdom and decided to do something a little different — play it 7 times and write down my thoughts after every single game. This video follows that entire journey, from struggling through the iconography and rules in Game 1, to developing actual strategies, experimenting with deck building, criminals, the Estate, manuscripts, buildings, and eventually going into games with a real plan based on the opening board state. You’ll see how my gameplay changed from game to game, what I learned along the way, how the different solo bots performed, and whether I actually got better after 7 plays. At the end I’ll also give you my overall thoughts on the game — what I liked, what I didn’t, whether I’m keeping it, and whether I’d recommend it.
