The South Pacific. 1943.
Convoys burn. Airfields rise from jungle mud. Rabaul stands in the balance.
1943: Race to Rabaul is a tense operational wargame designed by Volko Ruhnke, where logistics, air power, and long term planning decide the fate of the campaign. Lead Allied or Japanese forces across New Guinea and the Solomon Islands in a struggle where every division needs supply and every convoy risks destruction.
Play head to head or in team mode for 2 to 4 players, coordinating strategy and sharing command on the same side of the conflict. This is not just about winning battles. It is about sustaining momentum, managing resources, and making hard decisions under pressure.
Every move brings you closer to victory. Or disaster.
