I don't remember the exact year it happened. It wouldn't matter anyway. Time is not the same… it's more like a location to be entered into a GPS than a definite moment. Project Infinity was created by the United Nations of Time to send us to these locations to bring back artifacts from the past. Specific precious gems, minerals, metals are all needed for the Gate to function. These artifacts have a life force of their own. Some energy the science guys get excited about. I don't know how it works and I don't care. We go in, we do what we need to do, and we get out. If we are lucky, we get a few days rack time and then reload in the armory with some new Stun Weapons. The rules of engagement are simple - We don't kill or injure; we don't leave anything or anyone behind. The UNT Infinity Infantry is the official name we are given but everyone calls us Time Troopers. We aren't the only ones with access to a Kobe-Nakamoto Gate. There is a faction out there who are looking for the same artifacts. The Scorpions. Mercenaries of power-hungry conglomerate groups set on destroying our way of life. Politics is not my thing, but I know enough that grabbing the artifacts first and getting them to the UNT we can starve these groups of life force material needed to run their gate. Of course, they can do the same to us if we fail. The last functioning Gate will have full control of time. We must fight for the future - in the past. Time Troopers is a solo deck management campaign. Build a squad to travel back in time to find artifacts needed to save humanities future. Battle armies of past civilizations and sneak into ancient monuments. Manage Time as a resource and make choices which define the future timeline in this immersive solo campaign game. -description from the publisher
