On our dmNorth Plays series, we attempt to get our tabletop board games off our shelf of shame and share them with our friends online. These may not always be the newest board games, but it doesn’t mean they do not deserve our attention. Lorànt has had enough of hiding. Now he's ready to become a hero. 🧟‍♂️⚔️ The catacombs have become even more dangerous. Delamarre has been scattering a strange powder throughout the tunnels, and the zombies seem to be reacting to it. Our Survivors have finally caught up with the group — but Delamarre isn't alone. He has brought along one of his Generals, and the fight is about to get serious. With the Survivors charging toward the General and the scholar heading in another direction, the group quickly finds itself separated. Now there's no time to waste. Find Delamarre. Eliminate all of the Abominations. And get everyone out alive. But there's an even bigger problem: Lorànt has decided he wants to join the fight. And if the Survivor carrying Napoleon's Marengo Saber falls, the mission is lost. This is Mission 7 of our ongoing Pariz campaign — and with the catacombs closing in around us, this may be our toughest challenge yet. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ In this episode, we take on Mission 7 — “Lorànt, The Hero.” Our objectives are clear: find Delamarre, eliminate all the Abominations, and get every Survivor to the Exit Zone. But there's a catch. The Abomination that begins the mission cannot be eliminated by normal means and acts as a Spawn Zone. And whenever an Abomination card appears, things can get even more dangerous for the Abominations already on the board. And then there's Lorànt. After everything we've been through with him, keeping him alive has never been more important. 🔥 This is Very Hard. This is the catacombs.
