On our dmNorth Plays series, we attempt to get our tabletop board games off our shelf of shame and share them with our friends online. These may not always be the newest board games, but it doesn’t mean they do not deserve our attention. We're starting a new campaign, so pull up a chair, join our posse, and find out what happens when the wonders of steam-powered progress meet the horror of the undead! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Welcome to a brand-new campaign on dmNorth Plays! We're heading into the steam-powered Wild West with Zombicide: Gears & Guns and beginning the Dangerous Wonders campaign. Our journey starts aboard a train bound for Chicago, making a routine stop in the town of Bolton's Reach. The plan is simple: stretch our legs, grab some food, and let the locomotive take on coal and water before continuing our journey. But something is wrong in Bolton's Reach. There are bloodstains on the ground. Gunshots echo in the distance. A shout breaks the silence. While most passengers hurry back to the train, a few of us decide to investigate. Then we see them approaching. They don't look healthy. They don't look friendly. And they don't look alive! Welcome to Bolton's Reach. Things are about to get ugly. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Zombicide: Undead or Alive is a cooperative game for 1–6 players set in the Old West. Players control a posse of Survivors working together against hordes of Zombies, using weapons, Skills, Classes, and teamwork to complete each Mission's objectives. Like other Zombicide games, the Survivors grow stronger as they eliminate Zombies — but that growing power also means the Zombie hordes become more dangerous. Undead or Alive adds its own Old West flavor with four Survivor Classes — Brawler, Faithful, Gunslinger, and Townsfolk — along with features such as Balconies, Trains, Companions, and the Gatling Gun.
