Join Rob for a quick unboxing of Wispwood, one of the recent releases from Czech Games Edition. In this video, he walks through everything that comes in the box — from the 16-page rulebook and double-sided score pad to the many tiles, card sets, and punchboards. Rob takes a closer look at the components, including the fold-over cat pieces and the optional grid guide, while giving his first impressions of the physical contents. Follow along to see exactly what you'll find inside this magical forest box. Wispwood is a game for 1–4 players, designed by Reed Ambrose and published by CGE in 2025, playable in about 30–45 minutes. You take on the role of a curious cat wandering into a forest filled with glowing, mischievous wisps, each with its own personality and desires. On your turn, you choose a wisp tile and a shape to place in your own growing forest grid, aiming to satisfy the wisps and the trees across three scoring rounds. With goal cards that change every game, your forest grows in a new and unique way each time you play. 00:00 Intro 00:41 Box Overview 01:38 Rulebook 02:18 Setup Guide 03:16 Score Pads 03:41 Cards 04:57 Punchboards 06:15 Center Frame 06:38 Grid Guide 07:12 Final Thoughts https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/445044/wispwood
