We’re trying Wispwood from Czech Games Edition for the first time.
Each player selects a wisp and then carefully builds the exact Tetris-style forest shape shown on its card using tree tiles. The size of the woodland is defined each round and gradually expands as the game continues, giving you more room to stretch your strategy. Clever placement is key — matching your wisp’s pattern while positioning it to score from the shared conditions on offer.
We share how it feels after a full play: is the puzzle satisfying, does it reward careful planning, and who at the table truly has the sharpest claws for spatial strategy?
