Learn how to bake this delicious and beautiful Rainbow Burnt Almond Cake featuring the game board from Vivid Memories by Floodgate Games. The cake is a twist of on my all time favorite cake which is the Burnt Almond Torte from Prantl's in Pittsburgh, PA.
It features a vanilla buttermilk cake, creamy custard, butter and cream frosting, and of course "burnt" almonds. However, if you watch my channel, you know I give it a board game twist. Learn how to dye your burnt almonds to match the memory tokens in Vivid Memories. Finally, learn how to make your own player board out of fondant to top the cake.

During the game, players take turns collecting fragments of memories from moment tiles, placing them in their "brain" board to weave a tapestry of colored threads. Using abilities at the end of each round to cleverly create connections, players are rewarded for how they store memory fragments while working toward completing “core memories”, which give repeated benefits each round. Through their journey, players store important moments in their memory bank -- gaining new abilities and new opportunities to score -- all while working to collect fragments and moments that match what they aspire to be.
