TEND is heading back to crowdfunding with two new expansions, Hive and Cellar, and they take the game in two very different directions. Hive pushes the engine-building side of TEND even further with Apiaries, Bee Dice, new upgrades, Investments, a Cargo Pod, and more ways to create those wild chain-reaction turns. Cellar goes in a completely different direction, turning TEND into a three-game mini-campaign where you refine goods into Artisan Goods, build up Storage, work toward long-term Market Stall scoring, and carry progress from one game into the next. In this preview, I’m giving you a feel for what each expansion adds, how they change the experience of playing TEND, and which one might be the better fit for you.
