Each turn, the active player selects one of seven actions around Preston Space Station—but everyone gets to play simultaneously. As the station rotates, the relationship between actions and bonuses keeps changing. Build your gear-shaped Developments into the network to access adjacent actions and bonuses, place them beneath Technologies for ongoing abilities, schedule new destinations, gather supplies, upgrade your company, and prepare your ships for launch. Once your cruise leaves the station, your Pilot travels from stop to stop as guests enjoy Days in Space, visit carefully selected Excursions, and eventually return home with plenty of stories—and hopefully plenty of victory points for you. Join me for a thematic overview of how Excursions plays, what makes its rotating action system so clever, and why simultaneous play keeps everyone involved from liftoff to landing.
