Solo Play Sunday: Assyria: Second Edition!

Description provided by BoardGameDave on YouTube:

Hey there! Thank you for joining me for a very special Solo Play Sunday featuring the much-anticipated second edition of Assyria which was kindly sent from the folks at @garphillgames for review! This complete reimagining of the 2009 original by Emanuele Ornella not only introduces new and modern mechanisms (as well as gorgeous art and graphic design from Sam Phillips) but also a solo mode! In typical Garphill Games style, the solo opponent uses a small deck of cards to determine their decisions but I've found that this solo system in their hands produces a very easy to manage while also frustratingly human-like opponent that's exactly what I'm looking for in a solo experience! If you have any questions at all about the solo mode or about Assyria: Second Edition in general, let me know in the comments down below and I'll get back to you as soon as I can! 💬 In the meantime, check out their Kickstarter preview page below–the project will be launching very soon!
