Sibille, Thematic, Innovative and Beautiful Card Based Board Game. Spiel Essen 2024 Preview

Description provided by Board Stupid on YouTube:

Sibille is a fantastic card based board game that uses predictive bidding as a main element, alongside a tremendous potential for combos and interaction. This new board game is available on kickstarter and has some innovative and interesting mechanisms as well as a stunning production. Sibille is one of our Surprises of Essen Spiel 2024 and one of the most interesting games we played there. In Sibille 2 to 4 fortune tellers strive to obtain divine approval. 4 deities will be randomly plaid out during the game setup, each providing a different game-ending goal. The first player to fulfil two of these four goals wins the game. Players have a personal deck of 22 tarot cards, each related to a specific action. In a round, 3 cards are chosen and played form the deck to take the related actions, and three are played face down to guess opponents plays. Taking the actions printed on the played tarot cards, players interact with the game and each other, with much of the gaming experience being about predictive bidding, combos, chains of actions, and interaction.
