Episode 8: Sardegna & Kreta Overview, Comparison, How to Play, Review & Final Thoughts Sardegna is Here! Kreta's Comeback: Revisiting a Timeless Area Control Classic! Hey everyone, welcome back to another episode! Today we're looking at Sardegna! This is an area control game with hand management, area movement, and action retrieval. The game is for 2-4 players, and takes around an hour to play. The game is designed by Stefan Dorra, and is published by Playte. Sardegna is the latest board game release from Playte in 2024. It is the new version of the previous game Kreta, with fresh and new artwork. The core gameplay remains identical. In this episode I'll feature a side-by-side comparison of both of these board games. You'll also see a game tutorial of Sardegna along with my review, and final thoughts of Sardegna. Enjoy!
