Root Underworld Kickstarter Edition: First Impressions

Description provided by Shelfside on YouTube:

So we've been lucky enough to be able to get ahold of the Kickstarter edition of Root: The Underworld Expansion. We've played it a bunch for our board game nights and now we're here to give you our first impressions! Root the Underworld expansion comes with two new factions: The Underground Duchy and the Corvid Conspiracy. In addition, you get two new maps to put on your tabletop! We got a mountain map plus a lake map to improve your Root board gaming experience. In typical Leder Games Kickstarter fashion, because our friend Jason was an early backer we received 3 bonus products alongside the Underworld Expansion: The Vagabond Pack, Resin Clearing Markers, and The Exiles and Partisans Deck. We did end up playing our games using all these things in combination with the Underworld Expansion, and we definitely think these are all superb additions to Root. Sit back and enjoy our first impressions and bumbling about with our experiences with this new addition to Root. The Underworld Expansions should hit retail later this year around March (May? There's two different dates on Leder Games site vs. their kickstarter page). Definitely go check it out if you're a interested in Root, as well as the Exiles and Partisans Deck!
