My Favorite Board Game From Every Year (2016–2025)

Gaming Caravan

Watch “My Favorite Board Game From Every Year (2016–2025),” a board game video for Root: The Underworld Expansion from Gaming Caravan on BoardGameVideo.

Description provided by Gaming Caravan on YouTube:

What if you could only keep ONE board game from every year? Today I'm looking back at the last decade of board gaming and picking my personal favorite release from every single year from 2016 through 2025. Some of these were easy choices... others had some serious competition. Featured Games: 0:00 Introduction 0:14 2025: Apex Legends 1:38 2024: Andromeda's Edge 3:09 2023: Dune Imperium Uprising 4:01 2022: Guards of Atlantis 2 5:04 2021: Ark Nova 5:49 2020: DC Deck Building Dark Knights Metal 6:54 2019: Cowboy Bebop Space Serenade 8:10 2018: Root 9:06 2017: Azul 10:11 2016: Scythe 11:14 Outro Do you agree with my picks? What would YOUR favorite game be from each year? Let me know below! About Root: The Underworld Expansion, from BoardGameGeek:

New factions and battlefields join the world of Root! The Underworld Expansion includes: The Great Underground Duchy: an imperial faction that mixes the flexibility of the Marquise with the escalating Eyrie Dynasties. The Corvid Conspiracy: a secretive faction that hatches plots directly into the hands of their opponents. Two new maps: dig tunnels on the mountain map or fight to control the ferry on the lake map. -description from the publisher
