Watch “Preview and Play- The Cursed Cat,” a board game review for The Cursed Cat from Geeks + Tabletop on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by Geeks + Tabletop on YouTube:
We are diving into a preview of The Cursed Cat, the latest solo micro game from Button Shy Games designed by Scott Almes. When your chaotic feline familiar accidentally unleashes a horde of monsters in your wizard lab, it is up to you to solve a tight, grid-based puzzle and herd them all out through the portal. In this video, we break down the core mechanics, including the strict numerical sizing rules for moving monsters, the diminishing spell row, and how the game penalizes your movement if your strategy falls short. We also talk about the incredible standalone artwork and why this quick-playing setup has quickly become one of our absolute favorite Button Shy previews. Rules Clarification per Button Shy: On easy difficulty, discard the top two cards from the deck. On medium, discard only the topmost card from the deck. (On hard, do not discard.)
