Enter the dark streets of Yharnam with this Bloodborne Threaded Cane Hunter miniature painting tutorial. In this video, I paint the Threaded Cane Hunter from the Bloodborne board game, focusing on deep blue clothing, aged leather, weathered wood, natural skin tones, and the dark gothic atmosphere of Bloodborne. The Threaded Cane is one of Bloodborne’s iconic trick weapons. It may appear to be an elegant walking cane, but it can transform into a segmented bladed whip. I wanted the miniature’s colors to reflect that same combination of elegance and danger. I begin by establishing the main colors with Caribbean Ocean and Turquoise. Leather Brown and Old Wood help separate the worn leather and wooden details, while Cadmium and Bronze Skin create the face and warmer areas. Burnt Red and Black Lotus add depth to the darker fabric, and Wasteland Brown ties the miniature to its base. Finally, I use Reikland Fleshshade, Agrax Earthshade, and a Blue Wash to strengthen the shadows, define the sculpted details, and create the grim, weathered finish I wanted. I painted and filmed the complete process myself, sharing the color choices and techniques I used while working on this miniature.
