The Old King's Crown is up for grabs. The king has gone missing. Was it assassination, abdication, or has the king gone into hiding? Who cares! The crown can be yours, but only if you can outwit the other factions all plotting to usurp each other to be the last one with the Crown. This game is full of court intrigue, bluffing, resource management, and subterfuge. Each asymmetrical faction wields its unique powers, companies, and warriors to occupy locations around the kingdom spreading their influence over the regions. Divided into 4 seasons, spring, summer, autumn, and winter, combo your character and faction abilities to give yourself an advantage, or thwart your opponents. Send your herald during spring to prepare your way, plan and build up your occupying forces during summer, unleash them on each other during autumn, and build up your plotting engine during winter. This game starts you strong and as you expend resources and slowly wears down your abilities and powers....So it's important to know when to strike and when to tactically "allow" your opponents to claim areas (that are rightfully yours). Spectacular artwork, very in-depth intrigue and combo mechanics, this game has a deep level of replay value which gives you many opportunities to claim the crown for yourself.
