Mit NEXUS - the Arena Combat System möchte ich euch mal wieder eine richtige Perle vorstellen. Ich verfolge das Projekt - das in diesem Fall mal wieder ein richtiges Crowdfunding Projekt ist - seit 2018. Hier stimmt für mich einfach alles:
Ein unglaubliches Grim Dark Artwork und Setting! Dazu extrem stimmige Modelle (omg... when do i get them painted?!?). Und dazu einige leicht zu erlernendes Bier& Brezel Mechanismen. In seinem Kern ist NEXUS ein kompetitiver Skirmisher, bei dem die Spieler die Rollen von Lannistern übernehmen, einen Heloten auswählen und diesen in der Arena herumscheuchen. Und genau hier beginnt der Spaß...
Leider hatte ich hier keinen Prototyp. Schaut euch das gern mal an und schreibt in die Kommentare, ob ihr mehr dazu sehen wollt. Ich bin am überlegen, wie ich euch die Spielmechanismen näher bringen kann.

NEXUS: Arena Combat System is a brutal and irreverent story-driven arena combat game that takes place on poorly maintained space barges. Packed with rabid and bloodthirsty fans, these barges feature an array of deadly hazards that are designed to indiscriminately kill or injure both combatants. These hazards range from floor saws that tear across the arena floors to pits that are home to monstrosities just looking for something to eat. Full of beautifully illustrated and amusingly inappropriate cards and lore, each match leaves you with a story to tell and laughs to be had by all.
NEXUS puts classic tabletop gaming tools like dice, pen, and paper to good use; to pit genetically engineered champions against one another in visceral combat. Players will experience a rush as their dice rolls determine the fate of their hapless champions.
