Yu the Great has been tasked with dealing with the continuous floods and barbarian attacks, as his father Gun, was not successful in the matter. Will you end up succeeding, or will you let the Emperor down? Let this solo adventure begin! Check out the Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/shem/legacy-of-yu Legacy of Yu is a solo campaign game with variety of mechanics designed by Shem Phillips, illustrated by Sam Phillips, and published by Garphill games who provided us a prototype copy of this game to review! In Legacy of Yu, you'll play through various rounds building the canal and protecting your village from barbarians until you either win or lose! You'll do this by playing townsfolk cards for variety of workers and resources, and utilizing those workers and resources to construct buildings, expand the canal, and protect yourself from attacks. You'll have to plan ahead, as the only way to win is to build the six stages of the canal and survive to the end of the round, however, you can lose due to flooding, barbarian overtaking your village, or taking too much damage without having townsfolk cards to discard.
