Watch “Hadrian's Wall - Basics of How to Play & Review,” a board game review for Hadrian's Wall from Board Again Games on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by Board Again Games on YouTube:
Hadrian's Wall is a competitive flip and write game in the family of games with roll and writes where you use paper and pencil to make combos and solve a sort of mental puzzle. The game is designed by Bobby Hill for 1-6 players and plays in about an hour. The artwork is by Sam Phillips and the game was published by Garphill Games and Renegade Game Studios.
In the the game, players will build their defenses against the Picts, gain attributes like Renown, Piety, Valour, and Discipline. At the same time, players have a second sheet with Citizen tracks including - Traders, Performers, Priests, Apparitores, and Patricians. Filling out the different tracks and building on this sheet will give additional bonuses.
In this video, we take a look at the basics of how to play and then I give my personal review of mechanics, setting, and gameplay.
