In this livestream of Solo Playthroughs, Greg is happy to be returning to Gaia Project*...and he'll be sure to keep the Gleen puns coming, too. Widely considered one of the weaker factions, the Gleens start the game unable to earn powerful Q.I.C.s, being left to depend on a quick run up the Navigation research area to gain mobility. But the lack of Q.I.C. income comes with the upside of being able to settle Gaia Planets with only one extra ore. And, once the Planetary Institute is built, the Gleens get a faction-specific Federation token as a reward with the potential of big points depending on the game state. So, let's hope for a little bit of good cosmic fortune so we can go mop up our Automa opponent like Mr. Gleen!

About Gaia Project, from BoardGameGeek:
Expand, research, upgrade, and settle the galaxy with one of 14 factions.
Gaia Project is the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Terra Mystica! 14 different factions live on 7 different kinds of planets, and each faction can only thrive on their specific type of planet. To develop and grow, a faction must terraform neighboring planets into their home environments while competing with the other factions. Special Gaia planets can be used by all factions and rare Transdimensional planets can be changed into Gaia planets!
All factions can improve their skills in 6 unique areas of development which leads to advanced technology and special bonuses! To help out, each faction has its own unique special skills and abilities.
A challenging solo experience is also included in Gaia Project!
